The Greetings from Chicago Mural

If you’re going to be near Logan Square, you have to get your photo one of Chicago’s famous murals, the 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗴𝗼 mural! This postcard inspired piece is over 32 ft wide & includes iconic local Chicago images (I explained the letters below) Located in a parking lot, this vibrant blue and the yellow mural is super picturesque and even with its popularity you won’t have to wait in line to get your photo.

Vivian Maier Mural

Another iconic mural is the Vivian Maier mural located in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. Located on the back of someone’s house, right along the sidewalk is this a gorgeous colorful + black and gray mural of Vivian Maier. 5 Facts About Vivian Maier ⤵️

🥰 Vivian Maier worked as a nanny for most of her life.
🌎 She was born in NY, traveled the world & lived in Illinois.
📦 Her images were discovered in an auctioned off storage unit.
🎞 All of her work was published after death.

Lake View Mural

Located in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood is the beautiful Lake View mural; just like the beautiful blues of Lake Michigan, this big blue mural is a refreshing pop of color. I don’t know much about the background of this woman, but what I do know is that this vibrant blue mural catches my eye every time I drive by. I did link the artist below and you may be surprised about how many more of your favorite murals they painted across Chicago – all are just as beautiful.

You Are Beautiful Mural

Another one of my favorites around Chicago are the You Are Beautiful murals. There are several displays of these around Chicago, but this one on the northside near Rogers Park is one of my favorites. Located just on the news today somewhat dirty bridge, let’s pop of color is a reminder that even the unsuspecting places around Chicago looking for me considering beautiful. Robin Williams Mural

I showed up to the Robin Williams wall near Logan Square & admired this gorgeous colorful mural. As someone who grew up in the 90s, Robin Williams has been in a handful of my childhood movies. Located just outside of the Concord Music Hall, (within a spacious parking lot) I highly recommend getting your photo in before watching a show.
