Although I have a pretty solid camera bag that I adore and makes me feel like my gear is safe, another part of me would love to walk around the city with a cutesy camera bag. I’m sure I’m not the first person to come to this conclusion, but I am not a huge fan of camera bags that scream, “there’s a very expensive camera in here!” so began my search for something that was a little bit more stylish and incognito. Here’s a list of 5+ camera bags (in various budgets) that I think are really cute and aren’t super obvious that you’re carrying some of your most precious gear:
5+ Cute Camera Bags That Don’t Scream “I Have a Camera!“:
The Camera Sling Bag from Divvia
First on the list is this Sling Bag created by Divvia. It isn’t 100% my style, but I did have this bookmarked for quite some time while I was figuring out what my style was. I love the fact that your gear will be secure in a 5L bag, I love the fact that it has a long strap, but I don’t like the shape. Coming in the colors brown and black means that this is fitting for the girlies who like leather and more natural, less colorful, ways. I think it’s a great combination of safe enough for your camera, without screaming camera bag; I am just not a fan of the super structured look since my original camera bag is already structured enough.
This 5L bag is priced at $33.24 and there is currently a 10% discount on that, normally the price is $36.99; surprisingly enough, the 4L bag is priced at $33.99 – which isn’t much of a discount for a smaller bag.

The 6L Camera Sling Bag by ULANZI
The 6L Camera Sling Bag by ULANZI is another great option if you’re looking for a long strapped, sling style bag but with a little bit more space than what the Divvia offers. Unlike the first camera bag on this list, this sling bag has a little bit more space, a little bit more relaxed structure and more pockets for you to hold onto those other things that you would naturally carry outside of your camera. I’m not a huge fan of bags that don’t offer any additional pockets for the other things that you want to carry. When bag makers don’t consider the fact that you also carry a cell phone, sometimes an additional smaller camera, keys, scraps of paper that you will collect along the way as well as snacks – then they aren’t making this a realistic bag for you to use every day. I think that this bag is a nice touch of giving you additional space, while maintaining the integrity of something that’s made for a camera.
This bag is priced at $56.95. It’s almost 20 more dollars than the previously mentioned bag, but at 6L and more usable space, I think the pricing is appropriate.

The Meridian Camera Bag by GUESS
The upside, this is a really cute camera bag; the downside, is that your DSLR or mirrorless camera will be taking up most of the space inside. This might be your go to bag if you’re not hauling a big camera like I do, or if you’re doing something in the evening and you just wanna bring along a smaller camera or even one of those DJI Pocket Osmo cameras. If you plan on having your camera in your hand for most of the day, then this bag suffices with some of those photography accessories, but you probably couldn’t fit everything you wanted if you were out for several hours.
Right now the camera is priced at $84.12 with a 14% discount (about $98.00 without the discount), but with the colors in stock the price can fluctuate from $55.68 to $125.71. This is a little steep for such a small bag, but it could be possible that the brand feels comfortable charging more.

The Sidekick Camera Bag by Ruby + Rae
One of my faves on this list is The Sidekick Camera Bag by Ruby + Rae. It comes in black, brown and a Gray color and it’s also created with vegan leather so the price is significantly cheaper than those all leather bags. One of my favorite aspects about this bag is that it also carries a camera strap for you to connect your camera to the Crossbody bag if you want it to; if that’s not your style then you can totally place it inside of a bag while having space for other things you may need throughout the day. As someone who dresses a bit more casual, but wants the option to dress up if need be, then I think that this Crossbody bag is the great combination of both.
The price for the bag right now is $98.99 for all available colors.

The Meliae Crossbody Messenger Bag by Meliae
The Meliae Crossbody Messenger Bag by Meliae is one of the more professional looking camera purses on this list; it’s made with premium leather, it looks like a legitimate purse and if you dress up while wearing this no one would have any idea if you have a camera inside. The downside is depending on your camera and the lens if you want to carry, it does take up most of the space inside of the purse beside some other pockets that you may be able to fill some papers into. Coming in two colors, you can purchase this bag in brown as well as black leather.
This bag is priced at $149 for both color options.

The Meliae Shoulder Crossbody Bag by Meliae
The Meliae Shoulder Crossbody Bag by Meliae is another bag on this list that looks like a legitimate purse. My favorite aspect is the less structured appearance as well as the option to use it as a shoulder bag or a crossbody tote (especially if you’re hauling a little bit more gear). Coming in three colors, this leather purse can be purchased in black, brown as well as in pink; this gives all of us who may have different preferences, the same ability to purchase a cute bag.
This bag is priced at $174 for all three color options.

Some handy add-ons if you haven’t found your bag:
The Jippedea Shockproof Foldable Camera Inserts
The Jippedea Shockproof Foldable Camera Inserts are great way to make any of your favorite bags more camera friendly. I know how hard it is to find the one that screams you, so if you’re looking for something they can make your current favorite bag a little bit more special, I think this may be really fitting for you. I’ve had this saved for sometime because during my search for the perfect every day camera bag took a while, I considered the chance that I may not find it and I may have to “create” it myself instead. If you’re finding yourself at an impasse for your camera bag search, I highly suggest trying this out.
There are two different sizing options and the small is priced at $22.99 and a large is priced at $27.15.

The Hard Case by RAIACE
The Hard Case by RAIACE is a little bit bigger than the camera inserts I compared it to, but if you’re looking to have your camera secure in a luggage or a backpack that doesn’t have pockets for a camera, I think this is a great option. Although this does come with a strap, I don’t necessarily consider this a purse or bag, but I do think it’s a great hard case to put your camera away without worrying about it getting squished or damaged while in transit. Even the mesh pockets and the additional space inside makes me believe this is a great way to gather all of your camera gear together and to keep it safe while it’s away.
The pricing is at $26.95 for all of the color options.

I made sure to include bags that are on Amazon’s marketplace because of their reasonable shipping costs for my besties across the United States (and worldwide). Although they are Amazon links, none of these links are affiliated so I do not get any commission for recommending these items, including their links, or making this post.
If you are against using Amazons platform, you’re more than welcome to find the original manufacturer (which is on every Amazon link) and purchase from the manufacturer directly.
Your Bag, Your Rules
Ultimately, the bag you choose is your stylistic choice; no judgment here, I swear. I have a solid camera backpack that I feel like is sturdy for road trips/going through the airport, but sometimes I’m not doing all that and I need a bag that can get the job done.
If you’re looking for a different type of bag for your different type of adventures, I highly recommend checking out the list; if there’s another bag with a reasonable budget that you think I should add, definitely comment below so I can update the list accordingly!
