Which Chicago Airport is Best to Fly Into?
The best airport to fly into as you visit Chicago, is the airport that services your preferred airline (refer to list above). There does not seem to be much overlap on airlines that service both locations and you may have your options selected for you. If you don’t have an airline preference, I personally pick the airport that is closest to my accommodations; if you are visiting the Northside of Chicago, O’Hare airport will be a short skip away, but if you are visiting the Southwest side of Chicago then Midway Airport is just in your backyard.
No matter which airline you choose to fly into Chicago, there are ample options for transportation to get you to where you need to go. Since Chicago has such a big public transportation system you do have the option to take the train or bus to your accommodations or find a cab.
